🤷🏽This is one autism assumption that cannot be busted. It is true!⁠
⁠
And while it does NOT mean autism will occur in siblings, there is an increase of 18% chance that if you have one child with autism, your second child may also be diagnosed with autism. If you have 2+ children, this increases again for your third with 32%.⁠

✨We are beyond excited✨ to announce that thanks to a number of lodges through the @freemasonsvic that late in 2022, they came together and donated an incredible $18,000 for a special Victorian iPad round for Keeley's Cause!⁠

We cannot possibly put into words just how grateful and excited we are to pass this along to our Keeley's Cause families.⁠

This new iPad round will be for ✨Victorian families✨ who MUST be able to attend the special presentation by Keeley's Cause and Freemasons Victoria. All sponsors would love to meet the Keeley's Cause community who benefits from iPads, learn more from you and hear your stories.⁠

Applications will open at the end of January, and all updates will be notified here on social media, so make sure you have the notification bell turned on for Keeley's Cause. ⁠

For families not in Victoria, we will provide updates for future rounds on social media. If you apply for this round but cannot attend, you will be placed on a waitlist for future application processes. ⁠

❗ Before you apply, make sure you meet the criteria, including being able to attend the event in person.⁠

✔️ Parents MUST be in receipt of a carers pension, disability support pension (blue government pension card) OR a low-income health care card (in their name with the child's name listed). ⁠
⁠
❌ We do NOT accept a child's green disability card.⁠
⁠
✔️ You must supply your child's diagnosis from a qualified physician.⁠
⁠
👉🏼 Your child MUST be aged between 6-18 years⁠
⁠
✔️ Applications are open in Victoria ONLY.⁠
⁠
✨ Applications outside of Victoria will be placed on a waitlist for a future round for a National Opening. ⁠
